Today we had 2 hours of pool time. This time there were only 4 people using two lanes, so plenty of space. I concentrated on my mono kick and trying to get comfortable with it. I was surprised pleasantly that the mono fits well and I don't get foot pain so quickly as I did before. Mono moves slightly over the foot during kick, so some toe socks might be useful. I did around 50-60 25m runs with short rest times (1-5 breaths). I read about exercise from SplasOz's blog which I tried but could only get up to 6x25m runs (3 breaths). Well, I am just figuring out basic routines with mono, so I have time to try that later. I also did quite many 50meters runs and tried the turn. My turns definitely need practice on it's own. Also I got nice tips from my more experienced co-divers, which is always nice.
This time afterwards I feel like it was a workout. I am not dead tired but from this I did get some training response.
